The Competition is run by Cornmill Shopping Centre (“the Promoter”).

  1. The competition is open to all primary school aged children, who live and attend school in the Darlington Borough Council catchment area, except for employees and immediate families of The Cornmill Shopping Centre and associated companies
  2. The competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary. All entries must be submitted by either the competition post box (located in the shopping centre) or emailing; – marketing@cornmillcentre.co.uk
  3. Only one entry per person is permitted
  4. Pictures with entry details that are incomplete or illegible, will not be accepted into the competition
  5. The prize will be a £25 ‘All 4 One’ Shopping Voucher for the winning child, plus a £100 ‘The Works’ voucher for the winning child’s school
  6. The competition opens at 9am on Wednesday 1st May 2024
  7. Closing date for entries is 3pm Sunday 26th May.
    Entries received after this time will not be considered
  8. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault of any kind
  9. Public voting, opens online on the Cornmill Shopping Centre Facebook page, at 9am Wednesday 29th May 2024
  10. The winner will be the picture which receives the most likes from the general public, on the Cornmill Facebook page
  11. Voting closes 3pm Sunday 9th June 2024
  12. The winner will be contacted w/c Monday 10th June on the telephone number supplied with the picture entry. Once contact has been made the winning child’s school will then also be contacted
  13. If the winner does not respond to the Promoter within 1 day of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select the person who received the second most votes
  14. No cash alternative will be offered and the prize is non exchangeable and non-transferable
  15. An arrangement will be made with the shopping centre and parent/guardian of the wining child, to collect the £25 ‘One 4 All’ gift voucher, from the Cornmill Shopping Centre, at a mutually agreed time. A separate arrangement will be made directly with the winner’s school, to organise the presentation of the £100 ‘The Works’ voucher by the Centre Manager to a representative of the school, at a mutually agreed time
  16. The winner’s family agree to appear in centre publicity
  17. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it
  18. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions
  19. By entering into this competition, entries under the age of 18 are deemed to have the permission from the accompanying parent and guardian, who has provided their contact details on the entry form
  20. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, terminate or temporarily suspend this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical reason outside of its reasonable control, without a liability to any entrants or third parties.
