Cuppa with a Copper 2026
Following the continued success of our community outreach initiative, we are proud to confirm that ‘Cuppa with a Copper’ will return for 2026. This unique partnership between Durham Police, Darlington Borough Council, and the Cornmill Shopping Centre maintains a joined-up approach to ensuring Darlington Town Centre remains a vibrant and safe destination for everyone.
What is ‘Cuppa with a Copper’?
These are informal monthly meetings hosted at Esquires Coffee inside the Cornmill Centre. They provide a relaxed environment for residents and visitors to raise concerns, discuss local issues, and share ideas on how to keep Darlington an inviting place to shop and socialise.
