Greggs opens new and improved shop in Darlington creating seven new jobs 1st August 2025 – Greggs has opened its new and improved shop today in Darlington, creating seven new jobs for the area. Previously located at U60 Cornmill Centre, the shop has relocated to a larger unit at U50-51.The shop will stock freshly prepared Greggs favourites, such as the leading on-the-go-retailer’s popular Sausage Roll, the brand-new fiery chipotle chicken sandwich range, Steak Bake and delicious vegan alternatives, plus a range of over ice drinks including the Peach Iced Tea and Mint Lemonade which are only available in selected shops across the UK. Customers can also take advantage of Greggs’ deals throughout the day, including its new 3-part breakfast deal – a breakfast roll or baguette, a regular hot drink, orange juice or water, plus the choice of a side, served until 11am every day.Those looking for a bite to eat in the evening can enjoy a range of hot food from gooey Mozzarella & Cheddar Bites, to crispy Southern Fried Chicken Goujons, and even a host of tasty pizza slices including Pepperoni Hot Shot, BBQ Chicken & Bacon and Veggie Feast. After 4pm, customers can pick up any pizza slice with any drink from just £2.95 instead of the usual £3.65 – for even more mmm for your money.Customers looking to skip the queues can get their goodies delivered straight to their door with Just Eat and UberEATS, or alternatively grab a bite on the go through Click + Collect via the Greggs App. The Greggs App gives customers access to a variety of perks and tasty rewards.
