We are proud to be supporting The Harvey McWilliams Foundation with a permanent football boot donation point within Cornmill Shopping Centre.
Located outside JD Sports and Footasylum, the collection point is designed to collect pre-loved football boots and shin pads, both of which are still in good condition. All donated items are cleaned, refurbished and redistributed to children and young people within Darlington who don’t have access to the equipment needed to play football.
This partnership forms part of our ongoing commitment to supporting local charities who positively impact the community. To help launch the initiative we have made a £100 donation from our Community Fund to support The Harvey McWilliams Foundation’s work.
Founded in memory of Harvey McWilliams, the Foundation helps remove financial barriers to football while promoting the positive impact sport can have on young people’s physical and mental wellbeing.
If you have football boots sitting unused at home, bring them along on your next visit to Cornmill Shopping Centre and place them in the football boot donation point!
