Future Voices – Supporting Darlington’s Young People

We are proud to have launched Future Voices, a new initiative designed to support young people aged 14 and over as they prepare for their future.

Taking place every Thursday during the school holidays from 2pm – 4pm, Future Voices offers a welcoming space where teenagers can access free advice, develop new skills and build confidence for the next stage of their journey.

Whether you’re looking for help writing a CV, searching for work experience, applying for a part time job or simply want to speak to someone about your future, Future Voices is here to help.

The aim of Future Voices is simple – to give young people the confidence, skills and support they need to take their next steps.

You can receive guidance on:

  • CV writing and job applications
  • Employability and interview skills
  • Finding local work experience opportunities
  • Build confidence and communication skills
  • Exploring future career options

If you’re aged 14 or over, we’d love to welcome you to Future Voices. Simply drop into Cornmill Shopping Centre on Thursdays during the school holidays between 2pm and 4pm and find out more about how we can help you.

Zoe, Wayne and Kimberley can’t wait to meet you!
